Congratulations to Fernando Hernandez of Susquehanna University,
as the recipient of the 2017 NFAPL Scholarship.
The National Foundation of Alpha Psi Lambda invites students who are attending an institution of higher learning (2 or 4-year college) and who show a commitment to education, citizenship, and community to apply for this year’s scholarship. The NFAPL will award a $1,000 scholarship to a worthy student based on the following criteria:
- Applicant must be a registered student at an accredited United States college or university.
- The scholarship will be based on leadership and community service.
- The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students attending, or planning to attend, an accredited college or university.
- GPA requirement: 2.5 as an undergraduate, and 3.0 as a graduate student.
The NFAPL Scholarship is open to applicants regardless of documentation status, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) or Temporary Protected Status (TPS) eligible, or that have applied for or received DACA or TPS approval.
The application will be live Monday, October 30, 2017, through Thursday, November 30, 2017 (11:59 p.m.). Applications submitted after this date will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of Scholarship decision by Friday, December 15, 2017.
